Wavefront LASIK

Today, Wavefront LASIK is the most well-known and popular refractive surgical procedure practiced by surgeons worldwide for over 15 years.
LASIK stands for Laser Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis. It is a procedure that involves cutting a flap with from the front of the cornea with a mechanical microkeratome and reshaping the remaining underlying tissue using an Excimer laser. The cornea flap is then repositioned back over the exposed cornea tissue and aids with rapid recovery and most often the patient experiences no pain and good vision is achieved the very next day.
